How you can spice bouquets of dehydrated flowers
In addition to each of our dry bouquets, perfectly prove themselves a lot of decorative twigs with results in, fruits or interesting designs. This type of seed preferably maintains an aqueous answer of glycerol. In hot water, dissolve the glycerol inside the ratio 1: 1 or 2: 1, the fluid then cool it to the cold insert, and the depth regarding branches approx. 5-7 cm. After approx. 3-6 weeks (determined by species), remove the remaining fluid, and the plants put to dry in writing or newspaper. Such a plant turns into soft, waxy appearance, it is quite flexible and does not break. It is also much better to clean from dust, using a damp towel. This method has a new drawback, however, glycerin causes the decomposition regarding chlorophyll, so leaves exposed to sunlight can change color to dirty yellow. In order to retain a nice color to the solution we add a little dye to dye plants (offered by good garden centers) or ink, eg. In green. Glycerine best to sustain a stem with results in or fruits and grasses: ivy, Barberry, cyprus, boxwood, maple, privet, sea buckthorn, old man.
To best use the fresh plant or basic aniline chemical dyes, which are well ingested. Staining lasts approx. 15 minutes.
A wonderful addition to be able to any composition with dehydrated flowers, are twigs with fruits like rowan, Ghostlight or wild increased (naturally harvested, dried or preserved glycerine). A similar role is played by seed minds tomatillo, poppies and cumin, as well as colourful twig dogwoods (yellow and red) or interesting shoots of broom. Also, do not forget the cones, which are extremely gracefully, and sometimes they works extremely well together with an olive (larch).
